Le foulard

It's 10:34 pm and I am exhausted and ready for bed. School has been keeping me on my toes, swamping me with an endless amount of homework, but I promise to update more often.

This weekend was pretty interesting. I had a wonderful Chinese New Year spending it with my family. Traditionally on Chinese New Year, one is suppose to purchase a new outfit to wear to celebrate the new year. Well, maybe not everyone does this, but in my family we do.

But this year, I told myself no new outfit and no going to the mall. Unfortunately, that promise to myself didn't last very long. Last Saturday I found myself at the mall, exchanging a pair of shoes. I was just about to leave when I found myself aimlessly woundering around Mexx...the next thing I knew, I had a scarf wrapped around my neck as I was standing in front of a mirror... I think you can guess the ending to my story...

I'm a huge sucker for ruffles and gathers. So, when I saw this scarf I had to try it on. At first, I was a little skeptical about it...but it didn't take long for it to grow on me. 

 

Scarf -:- Mexx (os)
White Sleeveless Blouse -:- Aritzia (xxs)
Gray Cardigan -:- Aritzia (xs)

Well, I didn't buy a whole new outfit, but I am completely satisfied with the scarf, or should I say le foulard...
